Delete your account

Request account deletion

Contact support from the email associated with your CompeteLab account, with the subject “Account deletion request.” Include your team name if it helps identify the account. Never include passwords or sign-in codes.

If you cannot access that email, let us know. We may need additional information to verify that the account belongs to you. We will explain the scope of deletion, any applicable exceptions and the expected timing when responding.

Deletion in the app

Open Team → Account → Delete account and follow the confirmation prompts. Deletion cannot be undone. Contact support if you need help or cannot access your account. Removing the app from your phone or being removed from a team does not itself delete your account. This website is supplemental help for account requests.

Account and private information

Account deletion removes your sign-in account, memberships and associated personal content, including private reflections, AI conversations, personal audio recordings, transcripts and athlete memory. Contact support if deletion fails or you have questions about a particular record.

Shared team information

Shared schedules, meetings, team transcripts, decisions and team memories remain available to your remaining teammates. If you are the last member of a team, account deletion also deletes that team and its data. Contact us about personal information within shared records so we can review any additional deletion or correction request.

Timing and retained information

We respond within the time limits required by applicable law. Identity verification, the scope of shared records and legal obligations can affect completion. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or resolving disputes, and backup copies may remain until their normal expiry. We will explain relevant exceptions rather than promise that every copy disappears immediately.

Before you request deletion

If you want a copy of your information, ask for access or export before deletion. Coordinate with your team about records it relies on, without sharing private information unnecessarily. For other options, see Privacy Choices.
